How to Delete Your Account

Open the Remember Who app and sign in
Go to Settings (bottom tab)
Open Data & About
Tap Delete Account
To keep a copy of your contacts first, tap Export First, save the file, then come back and tap Delete Account again
Tap Delete to confirm

What Gets Deleted

Deletion happens right away and can’t be undone:

Your account and its sign-in (email and password)
All your cloud backups, and the web portal access that reads them
This account’s contacts on the phone you delete from, including their notes, interactions, meetings, action items, the photos, business-card images and voice recordings you added in the app, and any data you exported to the phone
Automatic backup is turned off and the saved backup password is removed from the phone

After deleting, you can keep using Remember Who on that phone without an account: choose Skip for now - Continue locally. To bring back contacts you exported, go to Settings → Data & About → Import Data.

Other Phones

If you used the same account on another phone, you can no longer sign in there, and the contacts stored on that phone stay on it. To remove them, sign in on that phone and use Settings → Data & About → Clear All Data before you delete your account, or uninstall Remember Who there.

Data Retention

Your account and backups are deleted immediately
Copies in our hosting provider’s disaster-recovery backups expire within 90 days

Local-Only Users

If you never created an account and used the app without signing in, there is no server data to delete. Settings → Data & About → Clear All Data removes your contacts, their photos and recordings, and exported files; uninstalling the app removes everything.
